Something you will notice as you continue along your spiritual growth journey is that the more you expand into the life you want, the more you become energetically unavailable for your old ways of doing things and being.
As you get closer to what you want, you get further from what no longer serves you.
This is the way. We must sacrifice our old skin for our new one.
Not everything will change but you will see that you will become energetically unavailable for people, places, things and behaviours that used to serve you but no longer do.
This feels uncomfortable at first but is a necessary step in becoming.
So, if you start noticing that you aren’t enjoying your old habits as much and you start to feel disconnected from people who used to be able to soothe you, trust that you are discovering new places within your soul.
I like to call these growths an internal spiritual renovation.
And as with any renovation, we must be willing to look upon the possibility of a place and trust that this new way will one day feel like home too.
We deconstruct and rebuild. Sometimes keeping pieces of what once was and building upon them, sometimes gutting everything and starting from scratch. Regardless of the extent, we are creating a new way of being.
And if your old friends are meant for your new home, they will respect it, respect your choices and feel welcomed.
